HIMALAYAN PASSAGE IS THE THEME AND TRADING NAME OF NAMASTE TRAVEL P LTD. IT IS A TRADEMARK REGISTERED IN NEPAL UNDER NEPAL GOVT.

 

Namaste Travel P Ltd. Sell a variety of travel related products from different suppliers & service providers (Third parties). Each suppliers has its own terms and condition that are applicable to your particular arrangement in addition to our general terms and conditions and you should make sure you understand them.

 

Booking & Confirmations

 

Nepal

An advance of 30% of the total package is required to process the booking.

Himalayan Passage will make tentative hotel/transport/air bookings upon receipt of final dates of travel and the booking amount and will intimate with an Email confirmation.

Remaining balance should be made minimum 30 days before the trip departure date. We also reserve the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.

If you're booking 30 days or less prior to departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

 

Bhutan & Tibet

Your booking will be confirmed by email once we receive your deposit of 50% of total package amount with airfares.

Remaining balance should be made minimum 60 days before the trip departure date. We also reserve the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.

If you're booking 60 days or less prior to departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment can be sent via Wire transfer to the following account

After the bank transfer is completed, please notify us by email by sending us a scanned copy of transfer.

Credit Card and PayPal payments are also accepted. 

 

Documentation

Our general practice is to send documents to our customers electronically whenever possible. Right from the confirmation from your side, we pay close attention to details of your request to ensure that the right and corresponding documents are sent to you by mail for your thorough study and confirmation.

 

Cancellation policy

 

Cancellation by Client

Any cancellation by a Client must be made in writing and acknowledged by Himalayan Passage.

No additional cancellation fees! You can cancel the tour up to 60 days prior to the departure date and you will not need to pay the full amount, but the deposit amount is non-refundable.

Please note that no refunds will be made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized.

 

Cancellation by Himalayan Passage

Himalayan Passage reserves the right to cancel any trip, prior to departure due to reasons beyond its control or Force Majeure (i.e. due to natural disasters, flight cancellation, consequences of strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences.

Under such circumstances amount paid by the client will be refunded forthwith after deducting the actual expenses incurred by us like visa, travel insurance and non-refundable air-tickets.

The Company shall not be liable for any compensation, damage, additional expense or consequential loss suffered by him/her or to pay any amount as refund to the client.

 

Limited Liability

The Company shall under no circumstance whatsoever be liable to the client or his co-traveler for: 1) Personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, death, delay, discomfort, increased expense, consequential loss and/or damage on account of theft howsoever caused. 2) Temporary or permanent loss/damage to baggage/personal effects howsoever caused. In this condition the expression “howsoever caused” includes willful negligence on the part of any person. 3) Loss of baggage by the Airline/Surface transportation. 4) Failure on the part of airline to accommodate cleint/s despite having confirmed tickets. 5) Airline not allowing cleint to board the flight for reasons beyond the control of the Company. 6) Damage or loss caused due to reasons beyond the control of the Company (Force Majeure Vis Majeure). 7) Refusal to grant Visa by the consulate / embassy.

No liability on the part of the Company arising in any way out of this contract in respect of any tour, holiday, excursion facility shall exceed the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for the same and shall in no case include any consequential loss or additional expense whatsoever.

 

Complaint

If you have a problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant suppliers (e.g. your hotel) immediately. Should they be unable to resolve the matter please immediately contact us via email or phone through our office where you made your arrangements. If you fail to timely contact us, we will not be permitted the opportunities to investigate your complaint and attempt to rectify any error while you are away, and this may affect your rights under this agreements.

Any claim or complaint by the Cleint must be notified to the Company in writing within 28 calendar days of the end of the Tour. No complaint or claim notified after this period will be entertained and the Company shall not incur any liability in respect thereof.

 

Insurance

Travel insurance is a vital part of your arrangements. We strongly recommend that you have taken out adequate insurance for the duration of your journey. Travel insurance is a mandatory element of some travel arrangements (e.g. trekking arrangement). We may be able to arrange travel insurance to be provided to you, furnish you a quote, and answer any queries you may have regarding the insurance.

 

Use of our services and website

You agree you will only use our website or services to make legitimate reservations or purchases and shall not make speculative, false or fraudulent reservations or reservations in anticipation of demand. You will only use our website and services in compliance with applicable law.

Without our prior written permission, you may not

Access, monitor or copy any content or information from our website using “robot”, “spider”, or other automated or manual device or program

Deep link to any portion of our website.

“Frame” or incorporate any portion of our website into any other website.

Our website may content links to third party websites that we provide only as a convenience to you. By booking your arrangement with us or using our website, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of this agreement and any additional terms and conditions of any suppliers that are applicable to your booking, travel arrangements or use of any website contents. You agree on behalf of yourself and those you represent to comply with all such terms and conditions.
